The Stages

In the first stage large particles that are easily seen, like pet dander, dust, and hair, are removed as a pre-filtering measure. The second stage continues to pre-filter by getting rid of thing like molds, pollen, and spore – the medium sized particles. The third stage uses 15 pounds of an activated carbon/zeolite blend to remove invisible odors, chemicals, and gases like ammonia and sulfuric acid.
